Proceeds to Help Area Residents
Proceeds from the Sept. 13, 2010, tournament will help disadvantaged residents in the District of Columbia and Prince George's and Montgomery counties pay their winter utility bills. The funds will be distributed through the PHI Community Foundation to residents served by the Greater Washington Urban League, the United Communities Against Poverty in Prince George's County and Interfaith Works in Montgomery County. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $770,000 for area charities.
