Pepco Participates in Minority Business Enterprise Initiative
On Dec 1, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley and Lt. Governor Anthony Brown met with hundreds of small business owners in Prince George's County to discuss the state of minority and women-owned businesses in Maryland at the inaugural "MBE University".
Tom Graham, President, Pepco Region, was introduced by the Governor, and Pepco, a major sponsor for this event, conducted interactive sessions throughout the day. The Pepco management workshop team provided a three-session training presentation for Maryland's minority business participants, highlighting the business strategies necessary to successfully win opportunities in the electric utility industry.
